New Project: Assessing the potential for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

Vista Analyse and Sintef are joining forces to assess the potential for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in Norway and estimate abatement costs for commercially available CCS-technologies. The assignment is for the Norwegian Environmental Agency. We will estimate emission reduction potential from CCS-technologies at multiple larger emission sources in Norway. The report will include an assessment of necessary investments, operating costs as well as other socio-economic impacts in order to estimate abatement costs at each plant.
