Macroeconomics and the environment in Uganda

Vista Analyse have previously advised the Ugandan Ministry of Finance in the preparation of a Charter for fiscal responsibility (see news post), which has been made into law and is binding for the next five years. The work is considered very successful. In the next period, the work will be shifted towards the relationship between macroeconomics and the environment.

In cooperation with Statistics Norway, Vista will assist the Ministry of Finance in Uganda with the development of their macroeconomic models to capture the environmental effects of policy.
