Joint seminar on Just Transition between Poland and Norway
Joint seminar on Just Transition between Poland and Norway - Krakow, 25th October 2018
The Polish Ministry of Environment and the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment had a joint seminar on Just Transition in Krakow 25 October. The transformation from coal to renewable energy is a particular demanding challange for countries like Polen where the energy mix is dominated by coal. This seminar was part of the bilateral cooperation under the EEA and Norway Grants, building on many years of broad co-operation on climate and environment, and financed through the national bilateral fund. IOS PIB and Vista Analyse facilitated the event and the enclosed report. 160 participants from governments, labour unions, business and industries, researchers and NGOs took part in the bilateral seminar.
