Vista has assessed the economic effects of sharing health data

On behalf of Nordic Innovation, Vista Analysis, together with EY and Rosaldo OY, has explored and calculated the economic effects of making the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated health region in the world through the sharing of health data. The potential for value is great, not least because of the demographic development that increases the pressure on the Nordic welfare model in the years to come.

The economic effects of successful sharing of health data in the Nordic region will materialise in several areas; better health-related quality of life and increased work productivity, reduced treatment costs and stimulation of productivity and innovation in the healthcare industry.
