Karin Ibenholt is an economist specialised in environmental economics. She has been working with economic issues related to a broad range of areas, for instance waste, climate, renewable energy, energy efficiency, transport, cultural heritage and development of environmentally friendly technologies. Methods used include amongst others evaluations, analysis of political measures, cost-benefit analysis, environmental accounts and valuation of external effects. In addition she has participated in several scenario projects.

Karin has long and broad experience as a project leader, and has managed projects including participants from several academic fields and institutions. She has 10 years of consultant practice from Econ Pöyry, and before that she worked at the research department at Statistics Norway.
